Hoskinson Shares Image of an Ethiopian Bird. Has The Minister Signed The Cardano-Ethiopia Deal?

Some hours ago, Charles Hoskinson, the CEO of IOHK who created Cardano (ADA), shared the image of a bird and that of John Hancock, an American merchant and prominent Patriot of the American Revolution who died in 1793.

Over the past hours, many members of the Cardano community have been wondering about the major reason for sharing the images.

What’s the Significance of the Images to Cardano-Ethiopia Deal?

The fact that the bird in the picture is white-cheeked Turaco (Menelikornis leucotis), a species of bird that has an Ethiopian origin makes it more significant to the Cardano-Ethiopia deal.

On the other hand, the significance of John Hancock in the history of America’s independence makes his image a likely representation of the Ethiopian minister.

So, considering the two images, it can be deduced that the minister has possibly signed the deal. This indicates that the official announcement of the deal and the Africa Special could play out in a matter of days.

Charles Hoskinson tweeted, “For some reason, I have this strong desire to tweet these two pictures. Must be the blending of my ornithological endeavors with my love of 18th century American history….”

About a week ago, during an AMA on YouTube, Charles Hoskinson revealed that a positive consensus was reached on the deal on Thursday 25th March 2021, by a special committee, following a question about what is delaying the big announcement.

According to the creator of Cardano (ADA), the deal has been sent to a designated minister in Ethiopia for an official signature, which will pave way for the major announcement.

Charles Hoskinson said:

“Is on their side, in fact we are ready to go. They signed a decision memo last week specifically to hire more than 30 people in Ethiopia. It was tendered properly to a special committee, and the special committee finally signed off on Thursday, March 25th. So has now gone straight to the minister to sign.”

So, this has raised the hope of the Cardano community members towards the notable development that is expected to bring millions of users into the Cardano ecosystem.
