Cardano (ADA), the third-generation blockchain project and emerging smart contracts platform, has been nominated for blockchain solution of the year by AIBC Awards.
The new development was shared with the community via the Cardano subreddit a couple of hours ago.
Anyone can simply guess that Cardano gained this notable recognition due to its recent developments, especially its recently sealed partnerships with the government of Ethiopia and World Mobile, with the aim of improving the region technologically and economically.
Cardano Nominated For Blockchain Solution of the Year
According to the information on the official website, the AIBC Awards will celebrate technologies and innovators behind them. AIBC Summit will bring together the top in the industry for an evening of celebrating achievement.
The update further added that voting is open until 16th May 2021 and the winner in each category will be announced on 25th May 2021.
The winners will be chosen by a combination of the jury (70%) and public voting (30%). So, users can start casting their votes for any of the categories on the list. The report added that more categories will be included during the week.
It’s worth noting that the new partner of Cardano’s IOG, World Mobile, is nominated for both the mass adoption and the social impact categories.
