E-HCert App That Uses VeChain Now Live in Cyprus Hospital, Over 500 People Received Lab Tests and Covid-19 Results

E-HCert App, an application that provides an archival solution based on the VeChainThor blockchain for the Laboratory Results and Vaccination Certificates, is now live in the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus.

Chris.pana, MD – Orthopaedics and Digital Transformation Consultant at Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, shared the notable news with the VeChain community on 24th April 2021.

According to the update, over 500 people have received their lab tests and Covid-19 results on their App, thanks to the utility embedded in the VeChainThor blockchain.

Chris.pana tweeted, “I am proud to announce that the new E-HCert App is live in the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus. During the last two weeks, more than 500 people have received their lab tests and Covid-19 results on their App!”

Back in June 2020, VeChainThor was chosen by the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus as a blockchain where Covid-19 test results will be stored.

In this regard, a notable success was recorded in early January this year. The Cyprus-based hospital announced that the first 100 COVID-19 vaccination records for medical personnel at the hospital were securely stored on the VeChain public blockchain.

VeChain Foundation tweeted, “The first 100 COVID-19 vaccination records for medical personnel at The Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus are now securely stored on the VeChain public blockchain. With this tech, govs and individuals are assured of the quality and validity of results.”

So, the latest report is an indication that the Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus has not ceased from progressing since the first 100 tests were successfully taken and stored on the VeChain public blockchain.
