Going by the report from the official Twitter handle of bitFlyer in Europe, 1st February 2021 has been slated for the resumption of Ethereum Classic (ETC) deposits on the trading platform.
As stated in the report, ETC deposits were suspended due to the instability of the Ethereum Classic network. With this upcoming development, users can now get themselves prepared to resume their usual activity on the network.
However, the approval process for each ETC deposit will be extended. So, users should expect their deposits to reflect on their accounts after 7 or 10 days.
bitFlyer Europe tweeted, “Ethereum Classic (ETC) deposits, that have been suspended due to instability in the ETC network, are scheduled to resume on Monday, February 1, 2021.”
“The approval process required for ETC deposits will be extended, so the amount of time for deposits to reflect on customer’s account is expected to increase (currently between 7 and 10 days). We appreciate your continued support.”

Ethereum Classic Labs Announces the First Exchange Listings of Wrapped ETC
About a week ago, the leading supporter of the Ethereum Classic blockchain, Ethereum Classic Labs (ETC Labs), announced the first round of listings of WETC on top decentralized exchanges, Uniswap and SushiSwap, with more additions expected in the near future.
The announcement reads as follows:
“We’re very excited to announce that WETC is now available on some of the most popular decentralized exchanges, including Uniswap and Sushiswap. Participating in the fast-growing DeFi economy just got easier for the Ethereum Classic community, as ETC holders can now leverage WETC to gain access to key financial services like trading, savings, lending, and borrowing that might not have otherwise been readily available to them.”
