Elon Musk Approves a New Use Case for Dogecoin (DOGE)

Elon Musk, the CEO of the electric car company, Tesla Inc., has confirmed that the widely discussed skit titled “Dogefather” will be incorporated with the upcoming episode of “Saturday Night Live.”

A couple of hours ago, Musk tweeted about his plan to release skits for his upcoming episode of SNL. He thereby asked his millions of followers on Twitter for ideas.

Elon Musk tweeted, “Throwing out some skit ideas for SNL. What should I do?”

Expectedly, the tweet gained thousands of reactions, but a user’s response caught the billionaire entrepreneur’s attention.

The user asked if Musk will incorporate “Dogefather” in the skit.

The user wrote, “Summin about The DOGEFATHER”

In response to the user’s suggestion, Elon Musk said “Definitely.”

After the tweet, the price of Dogecoin (DOGE) surged 10% to hit $0.39 but failed to retest its all-time high of $0.45. However, the meme token still tops other biggest cryptocurrencies in terms of price appreciation. At the moment, Ethereum’s vast gain is nothing compared to the notable performance of Dogecoin (DOGE) in the market.

What Brought About Dogefather

On 28th April, Dogecoin (DOGE) gained massively after the billionaire tech expert tweeted “The Dogefather” along with the date of his upcoming “Saturday Night Live (SNL)” appearance.

Back then, the tweet only subjected the crypto community to speculations, since no one has any idea in relation to where he’s coming from.
