Charles Hoskinson, the CEO of IOG, who created the smart contract platform Cardano (ADA), has some hours ago reiterated the fact that the timelines to the rollout of Goguen have changed.
This came about in response to the skepticism of a supposed Cardano community member, who claimed that there have been instances whereby the IOG team changed the timeline of previous releases, envisaging a repeat of past scenarios.

The user tweeted, “Hi all.. IOHK MR. Charles said change the date of goguen or smart contract deployment he said 2 or 3 month delayed whenever we know…. IOHK timeline everytime change last 2017 we are waiting but finally Cardano (ADA) is nothing totally disgusting nd chitting us….”
In response to the tweet tagged as a FUD, Charles Hoskinson made it clear that the roadmap to the much-awaited Goguen era has not been altered in word and action:
“This is an example of FUD. Nothing has ever changed on the timelines for Goguen. We always said three HFC events with the first starting in December with metadata, the second in February with NMA, and the third in Q2 for Plutus. People like to lie never let them get away with it.”

Cardano’s Yoroi Extension Releases Mary Protocol Upgrade-Ready Version
As a report has it, the new version of Yoroi Extension that comes with support for the upcoming Mary protocol upgrade has been released.
The new development was shared a few hours ago via the official Twitter handle of Yoroi Wallet. According to the report, once Mary is fully implemented as slated, users will be able to send and receive custom assets powered by Cardano from Yoroi Wallet.
“New Yoroi Extension release (4.0.3). This update adds support for the upcoming Mary protocol upgrade. As soon as Mary is activated, you will be able to send & receive Cardano-based custom assets from the Yoroi (even for hardware wallet users!),” Yoroi Wallet reported.

In addition to the report, a similar update to this latest release is upcoming for Yoroi Mobile:
“We’re very close to finishing the similar update for Yoroi Mobile. We plan for no downtime for Yoroi Mobile users as well.”
