Hackers Ditching Bitcoin for Monero Due To Recent FBI’s Privacy Breach on Colonial Pipeline Hackers

As a report as it, Monero (XMR), the world’s largest privacy coin, is now available as a payment option on the private jet instant booking platform, TapJets.

According to the report, the latest listing of Monero (XMR) seems to be a replacement for the embattled Ripple’s digital token, XRP, which is likely on the brink of being declared a security in the United States.

The report reads as follows:

“Since its inception, TapJets accepted cryptocurrency as a form of payment for flights and services. Given our clients’ heightened desire for confidentiality, the Monero is the best payment form to meet these needs.”

Since the emergence of the private jet booking platform, TapJets, in late 2015, it has incorporated a number of cryptocurrencies, including, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Litecoin (LTC).

Why TapJets Listed Monero (XMR)

According to the report, TapJets added Monero (XMR) as a natural evolution of ensuring the privacy of clients, especially those who want their travel details to remain confidential.

The decision to add Monero (XMR) also removes Ripple’s digital token XRP from its list of cryptocurrency payment options, citing its unavailability on several cryptocurrency exchanges:

“People fly private because they value their time and privacy,” said Eugene Kesselman, Co-Founder of TapJets “With bookings using Signal and payment by Monero, and complete confidentiality of flight records, TapJets is the only platform to safeguard your privacy and ensure it is shared strictly on “need to know” basis and only with your permission.”
