A recently revealed data, which was corroborated by the CEO of IOHK Charles Hoskinson, shows that the third-generation blockchain platform, Cardano (ADA) is now the biggest Staking Network in the world.
This data was provided via the official Twitter handle of Staking Rewards. According to the report, the Cardano staking network is now ahead of Polkadot (DOT), Ethereum 2.0, Synthetix Network, and a number of other staking networks.

According to current data, it’s worthy of note that Cardano (ADA) now tops others with the staked value of $7,202,030,791. This value may increase or decrease depending on the time it’s checked individually. But as of the time of filing this report, the Cardano Staking network is considerably leading other platforms in this category.
Charles Hoskinson Says Cardano (ADA) Is Also the Most Secure
In response, the CEO of IOHK Charles Hoskinson, who is also the creator of Cardano (ADA) corroborated the report with an additional attribute.
According to Hoskinson, Cardano is also ahead of other staking networks in terms of security.

Over 100 Million New ADA Delegated in a Single Day
According to the data from Cardano data aggregator AdaPools, the active stake or the total amount of ADA delegated at the end of the last epoch currently stands around 21.47 billion ADA. Also, the live stake that represents the real amount of ADA currently delegated to stake pools, stands at 21,760,185,047.19 ADA.
On 5th January, Pieter Nierop took to Twitter to hint at the milestone attained by Cardano (ADA).
He wrote, “No way, we just hit 100 Million new stake ADA on a single day ! This is insane. Guy stake and don’t sell !!!!?

According to Nierop, an average of 25.7 million new ADA has been staked per day in the past seven days. Additionally, there has been an average of 1,500 new delegators added to the network on a daily basis in the past seven days, while 1,895 new wallets were created on 8th January alone.
