The organization has announced that it has recently partnered with RenPSG, which is a major charitable platform provider. The firm has announced that with its recent partnership, cryptocurrency users will be able to send cryptocurrencies to donor-advised funds.
The organization has announced that RenPSG will be able to target more charitable causes by partnering with the Giving Block. The platform will be able to accept cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and many more for charitable causes and for non-profit organizations.
The announcement was reportedly made by The Giving Block on Thursday, September 23, 2021. This way, The Giving Block will be bringing in more exposure for the technology and services it has to offer.
The Giving Block has announced that following their partnership, RenPSG will be able to offer several options to the donors for cryptocurrencies. It has been revealed that over 45 different kinds of cryptocurrencies will be offered by the Giving Block to RenPSG.
Some of the major cryptocurrencies supported by the platform would include Dogecoin (DOGE), Ether (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), and many more.
It has been revealed that one of the major donor-advised funds at the RenPSG is Renaissance Charitable Foundation would be the first to accept cryptocurrencies for charitable causes.
The Giving Block has confirmed that the particular fund sponsor will be able to accept cryptocurrencies right from the beginning of the next week. After integrating the crypto-charity channels with the Renaissance Charitable Foundation, more charitable funds will be added to the list.
The Giving Block has announced that RenPSG will be able to run charity campaigns for cryptocurrencies with the help of DFX. DFX is proprietary philanthropic software that the Giving Block has provided RenPSG with.
The data shows that so far, RenPSG has been able to generate over $16.6 billion worth of funds charitable. Ever since the foundation, RenPSG has donated funds to several non-profit organizations as well as donor-advised funds. So far, RenPSG does its charitable work throughout the United States of America.
