Shop.com, which is one of the largest e-commerce companies out there, has recently announced its partnership with BitPay and will now be accepting Bitcoin in terms of payments from the users. The cryptocurrencies which have made it to the list are Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, and several other altcoins, which will make the acquaintance of this new change when things process further along the line for this project. Shop.com, without any doubt, is the first e-commerce platform to have accepted cryptocurrencies among the likes of Amazon, Walmart, and many other such stores that are still thinking about adopting crypto.
Interestingly enough, this was not an anticipated initiative by Shop.com, it has been something of a spur of the moment decision, but if things go well, then it is going to serve Shop.com for the better. When shopping from Shop.com, the users will have to select BitPay as one of the payment options for clearing out the payment that they owe.
Shop.com Finally Embraces Crypto Space
From many options, they can select Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, and some of the other notable altcoins as well. Market America is the parent foundation of shop.com, and the countries in which it is operating such as Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, the UK, Taiwan, and Malaysia; the integration with BitPay is also made available among shop.com for the sake of providing convenience to the users.

It offers smart and efficient transition and is being currently used by many businesses, companies, and digital enterprises around the world. BitPay did conduct a short survey earlier, and it was revealed that both the crypto holders and those who use fiat currency showed compatible interest in making this transition and using the platform in future endeavours.
