Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, who is currently the richest man in the world, has just changed his Twitter bio to Bitcoin, the first and largest cryptocurrency by market cap. This move has raised speculation on a possible transfer of a part of Tesla’s capital into Bitcoin (BTC).
Musk made this significant change to his Twitter bio a few hours after he tweeted to likely pump the price of his favorite cryptocurrency, Dogecoin (DOGE).

Prior to changing his bio to Bitcoin, the richest man in the world had shared a tweet that left his teeming followers wondering.

The price of Bitcoin has been reacting positively to the change Elon Musk made to his Twitter bio. At the time of publishing, BTC is trading at $36,880.99, with an 18% price increase in the last 24 hours.
CZ Binance Predicts That Elon Musk will buy Bitcoin (BTC) For Tesla
Some big guns in the cryptocurrency ecosystem have been monitoring the interest of Elon Musk lately. Some of them think that Musk could do the unimaginable by moving a part of Tesla’s capital into Bitcoin (BTC).

In a recent interview on forkast.news, the CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, popularly known as CZ, predicted that Elon Musk will buy Bitcoin (BTC) for Tesla:
“I wouldn’t be surprised if in a few months he [Elon Musk] announces that finally Tesla owns, I don’t know, how many bitcoins. And that’ll be really good for the industry. But I think it’s going to happen sooner or later — maybe this year, maybe next year. Who knows?”
