Elliott Management Threatens Jack Dorsey’s Position as Twitter CEO
Elliot Management, an “activist investor” firm, has acquired a lot of Twitter shares and has a strong intention to replace Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey.
According to reports, the firm seeks to replace Jack because of his divided attention as the CEO of Square and his plan to temporarily relocate to Africa.
Jack Dorsey has long been a strong supporter of Bitcoin (BTC) which has become an important source of revenue for Square, and Twitter has been the premier platform for building crypto communities. Analysts say a change in management at Twitter could hurt the cryptocurrency industry.
