Dash Core Group has announced its plan to release the next update for the Dash platform, says the testnet is expected by the end of 2020.
Next Update Is Upcoming
The Dash Core Group made the announcement via a blog post on its official website on 24th July. According to the company, there is a ground plan to release another update for its Dash platform by August 2020.
Going by the company’s remark, this is the third release in its newly defined process, and its fifth release altogether. The group further stated that its users should expect new functionality delivered relatively every 6 weeks. This implies that users can expect the next release to come sometime between 25th August and 8th September, the company added.
The recent release implies that all data on Evonet has been wiped. Also, the latest updates contain document timestamping, an improved DAPI client for better code quality, usability, and testability, an improved distribution package, and a platform test suite for developers to use.
The Dash Core Group noted:
“As usual, due to the breaking changes introduced in this release all data on Evonet has been wiped. Developers should make adjustments to their local setups to reflect this. Below you’ll find a list of the most important updates.”
Conclusively, users can look forward to four more releases before the Dash platform is welcomed into a new phase of its product cycle. And the testnet is expected to launch by the end of 2020.
The Major Benefit of the Partnership between Dash Help, Dash Text, and Dingo
As shared by Giorgio Marinetti, the CEO and CTO of Dash Help, the partnership between Dash Help, Dash Text, and Dingo will open new ways for the community members to use their Dash tokens.
Marinetti shared, “This partnership between the two Dash projects Dash Help, Dash Text and Dingo will revolutionize (even more) the way the community will be able to actually use their Dash in Caracas, not depending anymore on third parties to exchange to fiat!”
