The CSO of OKEx Alysa Xu has implored the members of the Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC) and ETHLondon to self-quarantine and get tested as a precaution against coronavirus after co-founder of TorusLabs tested positive of COVID19.
The widespread of COVID19 has now become a global issue that needs proper attention from each country of the world.
In the United States, there are many cases of coronavirus yet unknown. The recent report has it that United Kingdom (UK) Health Minister, Nadine Dorries, has tested positive of the highly contagious and pathogenic virus.
This spells the extent at which the pandemic is ranging. More cases are expected to show face in the coming days. This virus is not only affecting the health of the people, but it’s also negatively impacting the economy of the world.
The stock market is down, while the cryptocurrency market has not been left out of this negative effect. Many companies in the US have instructed their workers to start working from home as a measure to curtail the widespread of coronavirus.
According to CNN, Google parent company Alphabet has instructed its employees in North America to work from home through 10th April due to the outbreak of COVID19.
CSO of OKEx Tells EthCC and ETHLondon Members to Self-Quarantine
The CSO of OKEx Alysa Xu has recently implored the members of the Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC) and ETHLondon to self-quarantine and get checked.
This came as a precautionary measure after the co-founder of TorusLabs, Zhen Yu Yong (Zen) reported that he’s just been diagnosed with COVID19.
Zhen Yu Yong shared this, “I fell ill yesterday and have just been diagnosed with COVID2019. Everybody who had close contact EthCC or ETHLondon with me should take extra precautions and/or get tested.”
In response to the tweet shared by Zhen Yu Yong, OKEx CSO advised the people that were possibly in contact with the co-founder of TorusLabs to get tested as soon as possible to be at a safer side.
“For those who have joined EthCC and ETHLondon, please self-quarantine and get checked as a precaution against COVID19. Let’s stay safe and witness the birth of ETH2!” Alysa Xu shared.
