The firm behind the development in Cardano (ADA) ecosystem, Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK), has announced the release of Daedalus Flight candidate version 1.1.0.
IOHK made this known via its official Twitter handle a couple of minutes ago. According to the report, the new version is meant to complement the success of Daedalus Flight Candidate version 1.0.0.
The report also stated that the new version comes with additional wallet recovery phrase verification feature and support for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. All these are meant for users to leverage as the IOHK team prepares Cardano (ADA) network for the much-anticipated fully decentralized era.
“OUT NOW: Ready to take flight again? After the huge success of Daedalus 1.0.0, we’ve prepared a fresh Daedalus Flight candidate for the 1.1.0 release. This time, we’ve added a wallet recovery phrase verification feature and support for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS,” IOHK reported.
In another tweet of the same thread, IOHK further stated that users will notice performance improvement in the newly released version of Daedalus Flight candidate.
Additionally, the networking of the flight candidate has also been improved, coupled with lots of minor fixes, to deliver a better user experience.

Charles Hoskinson Corroborates the Release with Excitement
Charles Hoskinson, the CEO of IOHK, who doubles as the co-founder of Cardano (ADA) and Ethereum (ETH), recently corroborated the announcement of the newly released Daedalus Flight candidate version 1.1.0 with excitement.
In the tweet, he told the Cardano community of the Team’s interest in forging ahead until the goal is eventually realized.
He said:
