Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume has launched a 12.5 BTC worth $108,596 bounty program for the upcoming Bitcoin Halving.
The halving of Bitcoin’s block reward from 12.5 BTC to 6.25 BTC is scheduled to play out on 12th May 2020, which is less than 24 hours from the time of publication.
Bitcoin halving is obviously the most anticipated event in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, due to the history that surrounds it. It’s generally believed that the halving comes with benefits, not only for Bitcoin (BTC) but also for other digital currencies in the market.
Binance Is Launches 12.5 BTC Bounty Program
Binance made this known a couple of hours ago, via its official website and Twitter handle. It stated that there are tasks for all Binance users to complete during the activity period, which will end in giving away a total of 12.5 BTC.
According to the report, the activity starts on 11th May 2020, at 4:00 AM (UTC) to 18th May 2020, at 4:00 AM (UTC)
Bounty Tasks for Binance Users to Complete
Task 1: Binance users are to complete a crypto purchase of any amount using any of the fiat to crypto options on Binance or via the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) platform.
Task 2: Complete $500 or more equivalent trading volume in BTC spot trading pairs via the link provided.
Task 3: Binance users are to refer a friend and make them open a Binance Futures account successfully.
Task 4: Users are to complete 1,000 USDT or more in trading volume in the BTC/USDT Binance Futures perpetual contract during the activity period, using the link provided.
Rewards According to the Number of Tasks Completed
Binance itemized the rewards according to the number of tasks completed as written below:
- Complete any 2 out of 4 tasks to equally split a prize pool of 2.5 BTC.
- Complete any 3 out of 4 tasks to equally split a prize pool of 4 BTC.
- Complete all 4 tasks to equally split a prize pool of 6 BTC.
