Famous digital asset trader, Ben Armstrong, shares his opinions regarding Cardano’s newly launched NFT space that is growing rapidly. Armstrong shared his views while being hosted on the BitBoy crypto channel on YouTube. He said Cardano’s NFT sector is one to watch for the future. He based his opinions on the uniqueness of the NFT projects built on Cardano.
Leading Cardano NFT projects
The three NFT projects he mentioned are Zombits, Spacebudz, and Clay Nation. The first one was launched late last month, and it features 10,000 rare crypto digital artworks. The Zombit also released its schedule to launch 10,000 Humanbits, a Humanbits vs. Zombits game, and a stake pool before the year ends.
Spacebudz is an astronaut-based NFT project in which the NFT holder owns an astronaut. The project team confirmed that only 10,000 such astronauts are available. Some examples of such astronaut NFTs are as seen below.

The clay nation NFT collectibles consists of 10 handmade characters in 8 categories. It holds the record of being the first NFT buy/sell platform on Cardano. Any holder of an NFT character becomes an automatic member of the clay nation. All the NFTs for these projects have been sold out since September 9, and each of them was sold for 41 ADA. However, new collectibles are being developed, with one already available as displayed on the cNFT.io website.
Dealing With ‘Unethical’ Projects On Cardano
Cardano CEO was asked several questions during a recent AMA session. However, he spoke at length regarding what a user termed unethical projects on the blockchain. Hoskinson said Cardano’s open framework makes it accessible by good and bad people. But, there are clean-up measures in place to prevent misfortunes.
He further said that the reason for evolving into Voltaire, catalyst, ambassadors, and foundation. Based on the Cardano schedule, the Voltaire stage is the blockchain’s last stage of evolution. Cardano is switching towards a user-governed ecosystem once it completes the launch of its voting and treasury system.
In the meantime, catalyst accounts for some popular project proposals in the blockchain. This site acts as the community advisory network for reviewing quality assurance, suggestions, and voting systems. The next Cardano summit will discuss hot topics regarding the community, especially Dapps and user governance.
Before ending the AMA session, the Cardano CEO reiterated that crypto scams come in varying forms. He cited the example of a YouTube-hosted ADA giveaway. However, Hoskinson blames YouTube for not being in complete control of content aired on its platform. He claims that YouTube earns enormous cash from these scamming videos. Hence, the reason they cannot take down such videos.
Blame YouTube
Aside from Hoskinson blaming YouTube for some misdeeds going on the video hosting platform, ripple CEO has previously done the same. Last year, ripple took YouTube to court over the inability of the video hosting giant to curb XRP and other crypto scams on its platform.
Even though the case has been settled, there are still lots of scammers using videos obtained from the platform for scam purposes. However, getting rid of Cardano-related scams will require the efforts of the Cardano community and not just the Cardano developers.
