Zcash ($ZEC) Now Available to New York Residents at Coinbase

Coinbase, the US-based cryptocurrency exchange has recently announced that Zcash (ZEC) is now available to the New York populace on its trading platform.

This new development was passed across moments ago via Coinbase’s official Twitter handle.

The cryptocurrency exchange added that the digital currency Zcash (ZEC) can also be accessed using Coinbase iOS as well as its Android apps.

Coinbase shared this, “Zcash ($ZEC) is now available to New York residents at Coinbase.com and in the Coinbase iOS and Android apps. New York residents can log in to buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or store these assets.”

New Version of Zecwallet Now Available for Download

A couple of days ago, Zcash announced the release of Zecwallet version 1.0.5 via the official Twitter handle of Zecwallet.

According to the report, Zcash Foundation played a big part in the success of the newly released version. The new development has also enhanced the functionality of Zecwallet in terms of server’s capacity, caching efficiency and sync performance.

Zecwallet shared this, “Thanks to a Zcash Foundation grant, Zecwallet’s lightwallet server is now bigger, caching ALL blocks, improving sync performance for lightclients. Download the new Zecwallet(v1.0.5) to sync faster!”

The price trend of the digital token Zcash (ZEC) was favorable about 24 hours ago until recently when virtually all the top cryptocurrencies in the market subjected to a compelling price retraction.
