As a report has it, Franklin Templeton, one of the largest asset managers in the world with over $1.4 trillion assets under management, is on the verge of issuing a new fund on Stellar blockchain.
The new development was passed across via the official Twitter handle of Turkish Stellar. According to the report, the firm is also preparing to run nodes on the Stellar blockchain.

Grayscale Purchases 5,566,271 XLM
Grayscale Investments, the world’s largest crypto asset manager, has reportedly added 5,566,271 XLM to its Stellar Lumens Trust. The value of the amount of XLM added by Grayscale is around $3.2 million at current prices.
The new development was revealed in the recent data provided by the crypto analytics platform Bybt dated 13th April 2021.
Over the past months, Grayscale has also purchased quite a large amount of other popular digital currencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), and some newly incorporated digital assets.
Other coins added by Grayscale aside from Stellar Lumens (XLM) according to Bybt include 35,906 LTC; 7,764,159 MANA; 281,303 LPT; 1,454,961 BAT; 72,668 LINK and 45,051 FIL.
According to the recent update, Grayscale’s total asset under management currently stands at $47.7 billion.
