US-Based Health Firm Adopts VeChain (VET) To Combat Supplement Counterfeiting

VeChain, a blockchain platform designed to enhance supply chain management, was referenced on a mainstream television in Australia, along with APAC Provenance Council.

The Asia Pacific (APAC) Provenance Council is an industry alliance that helps exporters to digitally enable and scientifically prove the provenance, traceability, and authenticity of their products, and tell the stories behind their brands.

On 6th May 2020, VeChain became the sole public blockchain Protocol of the APAC Provenance Council, with the aim of building a high-efficiency cross-continental finance ecosystem in the food industry.

VeChain Referenced On Australian Mainstream Television

The notable reference of VeChain on the Australian mainstream television was first reported by the CEO of Fresh Supply Co., David Inderias, and excitedly captioned by the VeChain Foundation.

In the tweet, the foundation congratulated APAC Provenance Council for achieving such a great media coverage.

The foundation further reassured APAC Provenance Council of its support towards realizing the safety of food in the Asia Pacific region.

As the blockchain technology provider in the council, VeChain congratulates the achievement of the APAC Council and is excited to transform food safety in the APAC region together,” VeChain Foundation tweeted.

The achievement has received a huge reaction from VeChain community members. Some members see the reference as a good example of how the public will adopt and use VeChain.

As aforementioned, on 6th May 2020, VeChain became the sole public blockchain protocol of the Asia Pacific (APAC) Provenance Council, a cross-continental food supply chain and financial consortium. And the aim of this integration is to build a strong cross-continental finance ecosystem in the food industry.

APAC Provenance Council has already gained a very strong backing of the government, export and industry bodies, standard agencies, large packaging and labeling service providers, foremost finance giants, and blockchain technology providers globally.

This consortium is established to integrate blockchain technology into food supply chain finance in Australia-China trades. At the moment, VeChain is one of the affiliate members of the consortium, including FoodAgility CRC (Cooperative Research Centre), DNV GL – Business Assurance, among others.
