It was not long ago when Jack Dorsey, the founder of Twitter had made an attempt to promote an event for Bitcoin (BTC). The event was for the education of investors surrounding the world’s largest cryptocurrency. It was also to bring more exposure to the mainstream institutions around Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
However, Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk decided to tease and troll the founder of Twitter through his own Twitter profile. He made a comment on Jack Dorsey’s promotion of the event with his own twist and it ended up triggering Jack Dorsey.
While Elon Musk tried to tease Jack Dorsey, the Twitter CEO was not in the mood of taking it and decided to take matters into his own hands. Dorsey, who was inviting people and his followers to an event surrounding education and knowledge around Bitcoin, ended up disputing with Elon Musk.
The followers of Jack Dorsey as well as Elon Musk’s followers saw Jack Dorsey advocate Bitcoin. The name of the particular event that Jack Dorsey was supporting and promoting is titled “The B Word”. The event is set to take place on July 21, 2021, which will be a virtual event.
While Elon Musk continued teasing Jack Dorsey, Dorsey continued defending Bitcoin and asked Elon Musk to share his concerns and curiosities around Bitcoin. Dorsey stated that he will try his best to clear out any confusions or curiosities Musk has related to Bitcoin.
In the end, Dorsey ended up inviting Elon Musk to attend the particular event where they could speak openly about Bitcoin. He invited him to the particular platform to come up and share his concerns around Bitcoin. Initially, Elon Musk took it as a joke and continued with his play. However, realizing that Dorsey was serious about the invitation, Musk officially accepted it, agreeing to talk about Bitcoin at the event.
As communicated earlier, the particular event is set to take place on July 21, 2021. The Crypto Council for Innovation would reportedly be hosting the particular event. In addition to the two billionaires attending the event, other major entities and players from the cryptocurrency sector would also be a part of the event.
Further details around the event have already been shared. The speaker that will be featured at the event would be the director of Brink, John Newbery. Brink is an organization that is non-profit in nature and focuses on providing support for the development of Bitcoin.
Then there is Michael Morell, a former deputy director at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States. Another speaker would be Adam Back, the founder of Blockstream, and Cathie Wood of Ark Invest. Jack Dorsey would also be one of the speakers that would be feature in the event.
