NowPayments, the easiest way to accept Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins payments, has integrated Cardano (ADA) with its payment system and also created a plugin for Shopify.
This new development was shared with the community via the Cardano subreddit. This officially marks the first-ever e-commerce payment platform to accept the digital token ADA for Cardano merch.

The post on the Cardano subreddit that announced the new adoption of ADA reads as follows:
“Shout out to NowPayments who have integrated Cardano with their payment system and also created a plugin for Shopify! Officially the 1st ever e-commerce site to accept ada for Cardano merch!”
CryptoSupreme, a veteran-owned merchandise company that brings amazing, high-quality Cardano (ADA), IOHK, and Emurgo products, also confirmed the development in a tweet a couple of hours ago.

Cardano (ADA) Monthly Transaction Surges
Since the beginning of the year, Cardano (ADA) has been undergoing a vast boost in all aspects, such as price, popularity, development, adoption, among others. The digital currency also joined the top 10 cryptocurrencies this year, approaching $40 billion in terms of market capitalization.
All these magnificent feats have increased attention and interest in the cryptocurrency. At the same time, it has also increased the number of critics.
Since there have been an increase in Cardano (ADA) price and user base, it’s expected to also see a boost in the number of monthly transaction of ADA.

According to the data shared by SproutPool, the number of monthly transactions of Cardano (ADA) since the beginning of 2021 has significantly increased, compared to the previous years. This represents the vast increase in the adoption of Cardano.
