One of the biggest Ukrainian esports organizations has recently announced that they are entering a partnership with Bybit. The agreement with the popular crypto trading platform Bybit will last three years, where NAVI will then follow a set of rules. According to the agreement, NAVI players sport the trading platform’s name on their jerseys. This is quite standard practice for the esports organization, as almost all of their partnerships lead to this conclusion.
Furthermore, both companies will also be collaborating on various programs outside their respective fields. One of the main issues that they will be working on is anti-bullying campaigns, which is a serious issue in the online gaming space.
In the company’s press release, their chief marketing officer Alexander “nervo” Pavlenko talked about the decision to partner with Bybit. He mentioned that they are much honored to be the first stop in helping Bybit integrate into the esports world. With a proper global strategy in place, integrating into the esports world is just step one. NAVI also happens to the first esports team to collaborate with a crypto trading platform.
Pavlenko further continued that with the help of their new partnership, they will be able to show their fans how valuable digital-based communication can be. They hope that their partnership will help in making the online gaming space better and safer.
While this is their most recent partnership, it is certainly not NAVI’s first partnership. In the past, the Ukrainian esports organization has worked with AndaSeat, PUMA, and Monster energy drink. Those are some of their most popular partnerships, along with six other companies.
CEO and co-founder of Bybit, Ben Zhou, also shared his thoughts on the partnership, and he was also vey honored to be working with them. He mentioned that NAVI managed to provide 86.1 million hours of entertainment throughout 2020. They have quite a diverse fan base, with viewers from around the world. Overall, Zhou was very excited to be working with NAVI and their three-year partnership.
He continued that Bybit is a start-up that is growing fast and is becoming more popular among crypto enthusiasts. Through their partnership with NAVI, they will be able to synergize esports creators and athletes with the crypto community.
Although Bybit is certainly the newest crypto exchange to enter the world of esports, it will not be the last. Research shows that the esports market is a relatively untapped gold mine for crypto exchanges and currencies. Therefore, it would not be surprising to see various other companies try to integrate into the esports market.
Cryptocurrencies are getting more and more famous with each passing day already. I don’t think such a move was needed anyway.
This will gather a lot of attention for Bybit because gaming is one of the most growing industries of the world right now.
I liked the fact that they both will be partnering up against bullying. This needs to be appreciated and other companies should also raise their voice against it.
