Prominent personalities in the crypto space Ben Armstrong, also known as BitBoy, and Kevin O’Leary, a billionaire investor, participated in a public argument. This argument spread through social media.
Investor O’Leary made a mockery of Ben Armstrong for going after the former FTX exchange chief executive officer, Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), while he was in the Bahamas.
BitBoy claimed he flew to the Bahamas to hear SBF’s side of the story regarding the crash of his crypto exchange. However, most of the crypto community found their tweet banters entertaining.
Kevin O’Leary reacted to a tweet from BitBoy, saying he feels BitBoy may be a little disoriented and need some help. Then, he ended his statement by saying, “Get a life!”.
In the initial tweet, Armstrong jokingly suggested that he may show up at O’Leary’s home. O’Leary was referred to as a murderer by Armstrong.
BitBoy further accused O’Leary of hiding his involvement in the FTX controversy. In addition, BitBoy stated that FTX investors should file a class action lawsuit against O’Leary.
He claimed that O’Leary was involved in covering up FTX and the Celsius mischief. In one of his tweets, Armstrong said, “when a cover-up is run, it is because you do not want the truth to come out by any means.”
He said that it should be exposed if people are unaware of the truth. The community has enjoyed the drama and is looking forward to a possible exchange of blows between them.
Following his comments on the FTX exchange, Kevin O’Leary has come under fire from the cryptocurrency community. They labelled him as someone in denial about the collapse of FTX.
BitBoy’s Bahamas Trip
Recently, Ben Armstrong took a trip to the Bahamas seeking to question SBF about FTX’s demise. Armstrong told the public that he found Sam Bankman’s Corolla car, confirmed by crypto Twitter to be SBF’s own.
Then, he remarked, seeing pills and an MSI laptop inside the car. It is not well known if the former FTX CEO is still staying in the Bahamas.
Although many people believe he is still residing there. Armstrong had set up his camp outside SBF’s apartment when he was in the Bahamas.
Thus, drawing so much attention to himself. However, Bitboy claimed that it was about answers and not about clicks.
Meanwhile, Armstrong also made headlines for putting himself forward for the position of Ripple’s director of strategy and operations. Unsurprisingly, Ripple rejected his proposal four days after receiving it.
