The founder and CEO of Tron (TRX) Justin Sun, has recently reacted to China’s announcement to lift the lockdown on the city where COVID-19 was first discovered, Wuhan.
In a series of tweets shared by Justin Sun a few hours ago, he said that the success in containing coronavirus in Wuhan indicates that the pandemic can be contained across the world.
Sun further summarized the effort put in place by Tron to support the fight against the widespread of the highly contagious and pathogenic virus in China.
“China announced it’ll lift the lockdown on Wuhan. It’s great news as it proves COVID-19 can be contained w/ proper measures. I remembered it was only 55 days ago when TRON 1st learned about COVID-19 & sent a shipment of medical supplies to China,” Justin Sun shared.

When we first learned about COVID-19, we shared the same panic. We had TRON members in Wuhan/Hubei at the time, Wuhan started a lockdown & eventually, all of Hubei. There were lots of uncertainties and so much we didn’t know about the virus.
From day 1, TRON acted immediately by sending medical supplies to China, helping the people from Wuhan/Hubei & adopting WFH policy. We followed WHO’s instructions by washing hands frequently, etc. After the 55 days, I am so happy that all TRON members have stayed healthy.
COVID-19 seemed unstoppable in China 55 days ago, but w/ proper measures & a positive mindset, we’ve proven it can be contained. We just have to continue obeying all orders imposed by the gov’t & WHO. Let’s hang in there & don’t give up.
I want to thank all the doctors/nurses on the frontline working tirelessly trying to contain this virus. I appreciate all that you are doing & we as a community will do our part. Also a big shoutout to everyone else fighting COVID-19 no matter where and who you are.
Since the beginning, TRON has donated supplies to China & helped people in Wuhan/Hubei. Now that it has spread globally, we will continue our efforts & commitment to the world & TRON community by doing all that we can to help all the people affected.
