IOTA has announced the upcoming release of Hornet v.0.4.0 Node Software that utilizes IOTA’s decentralized data structure, for usability and performance improvement.
This upcoming release was made known in an official statement via IOTA’s official Twitter handle on 29th May 2020.
Going by the official statement, the version of Hornet will initiate notable improvements to system performance and user experience.
Presently, Hornet’s team of developers has started running final tests of Hornet operations. The report also stated that the new version will be easier to install, run, and manage than previous versions. The Advanced Package Tool interface of the new release will consist of only one line.
“The release of Hornet v0.4.0 is coming next week! This new version of our node software will be a lot easier to install, manage & run, and will make the IOTA network significantly more performant. Together with the community we’re right now running some final tests. Stay tuned.” IOTA shared.

David Sønstebø Reacts to the New Release
The founder of IOTA, David Sønstebø, displayed his contentment to the new release while reacting to the announcement on Twitter.
In his reaction, he stressed that the Hornet team is about to achieve a crucial milestone in conjunction with IOTA Foundation.
