The Italian Football club Inter Milan proposes making Binance the possible replacement option for DigitalBits as its main shirt Sponsor. Binance is one of Inter’s listed alternatives to DigitalBits as the current sponsor hasn’t fulfilled its end of the partnership deal.

Other possible replacements include the online gambling platform LeoVegas and Chinese multifunctional electronic manufacturer Hisense. A local media outlet revealed the new development today via Tuttosport, the highly respected Italian sports media.

The reports state Binance may be the next to appear as the face of the club’s shirt and among their list of partners. The move to drop Inter Milan’s main shirt sponsor, DigitalBits, was proposed earlier last month due to recurring skipped payments.

As of November, the debt owed by the blockchain entity is about €17M. However, Inter Milan entered a partnership deal with Zytara Labs worth €85M last September.

While Binance still possesses all the relevant criteria to become a capable replacement, Hisense is also a fitting choice for the football club. More importantly, the electronic dealer’s terms look more inviting than others.

Notably, Hisense has an experience with such sponsorship deals as it had once surfaced on the football screen while in partnership with FIFA in the just concluded 2022 world cup in Qatar. Another on the list of sponsors would be LeoVegas which already has a sponsorship deal with Manchester City as its official gambling partner in Europe and Canada.

Although, the opportunity of LeVegas might be off that it is currently serving a ban that restricts betting platforms from accepting sponsorship deals with Italy’s football clubs. In light of this, LeoVegas’ chances of joining the list of sponsors are quite slim.

Binance’s Involvement In Various Football Deals

This isn’t the first sports deal Binance would be involved in, as it agreed to a $35 million partnership deal last year with another Italian football club, S.S. Lazio, making it a primary sponsor of the club’s jersey.

The deal is expected to last for two years and could be extended. In addition, Binance exchange also announced a multi-year partnership deal with one of the world’s most famous football stars, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The partnership scope is tied to producing various NFTs based on the Portuguese football star’s work. In addition, the exchange started a new initiative called Football Fever last month. The initiative provided football fans across the globe with a chance to share a $1 million prize pool.

Within the same month, Binance also invested $4 million into the free-to-play Ultimate Champions fantasy sports platform.
