Another Big Cardano Africa Deal Is Building Up, Will Fully Leverage Alonzo Smart Contracts

Chain Games, a blockchain gaming and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) platform built on Ethereum blockchain, is exploring Cardano, which could result in a move from Ethereum to the emerging smart contract platform.

Cardano community is anticipating the deployment of smart contracts on the network, which is expected to give Cardano an advantage over the largest smart contract platform, Ethereum.

A number of projects built on Ethereum are considering a move to Cardano as soon as smart contracts functionality is implemented, while a number of others, such as SingularityNET, have already confirmed their move to Cardano.

Input Output Global (IOG), the software firm behind the development of Cardano (ADA), announced in a blog post on 17th May 2021 that the testnet of ERC-20 converter, a tool that will make the migration of Ethereum-based tokens to Cardano seamless, is nearing deployment.

According to the announcement, SingularityNET will be the first crypto project to use the token migration tool.

Chain Games Considering Moving To Cardano Blockchain

In the wake of the announcement, Chain Games also informed its users that it will be exploring and testing out the Cardano ERC20 converter, which indicates the possibility of moving from Ethereum to Cardano blockchain.

Chain Games tweeted, “Our goal at Chain Games is to be cross-blockchain compatible to allow for the most seamless gaming experience w/ the fastest transaction times & lowest fees possible. We are pleased to announce we will be exploring & testing out the Cardano ERC20 converter when it hits testnet!”

In this regard, Chain Games published a poll on Twitter on 20th May, which suggests Cross-Chain support for Cardano (ADA).

At the time of writing, 71.6% of the respondents chose Cross-Chain support for Cardano (ADA) as the most exciting development they would love to see on the platform in the near future.
