In the quest to support the Chinese community, Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of the largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance, who is popularly known as CZ Binance has recently promised to support the country with 70,000 masks to curtail and control the widespread of the killer disease.
Earlier Supports Shown By CZ Binance
Earlier before this moment, Binance CEO had pledged that the exchange will be supporting China with 10 million RMB, which is equivalent to $1.5 million, to confront the chaotic situation ranging in the country.
He said, “For Wuhan, not realistic to do crypto to end beneficiaries. Binance pledged 10m RMB ($1.5m USD) to help coronavirus victims. We didn’t make any announcements. But BCF/Binance team has been busy for the last few days. Still need help to arrange logistics locally.”
Some hours later, CZ came back to the thread of the tweet above to share the additional intention of the exchange towards battling the viral outbreak in China.
He said N95 masks in the affected region and environs have been totally sold out. He added that Binance had bought over 8,000 medical masks but not without difficulties in sending them to Wuhan. He then solicited the help of whoever has the idea of getting them to reach the appropriate quarters in the region.
He said, “All N95 masks in China, Japan and surrounding regions are sold out. We bought 8000+ medical masks but also having difficulties sending them to Wuhan. If you know of logistics channels that still work, please do share.”
CZ Binance Increases Masks Order to 70,000
To cap it all, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the Chinese-Canadian CEO of Binance recently shared that his team is already working with some of the largest e-commerce and logistics companies in China, in collaboration with the government of the country in the quest to prevent the chaos.
He then added that Binance has increased the initial order of the masks to 70,000, which will be acquired from other countries.
CZ Binance said, “Our team is working with some of the largest e-commerce and logistics companies in China now. The CN government is also coordinating this centrally to prevent chaos. We increased the order to about 70,000 masks now from other countries. Others measures also pushing forward.”
