The CEO of IOHK and co-founder of Cardano (ADA), Charles Hoskinson has recently tried to initiate a peaceful cohabitation between the three cryptocurrency big guns, Justin Sun, Vitalik Buterin, and Juan Benet after a copycat allegation leveled against the CEO of Tron (TRX).
Recall that the creator of a peer-to-peer hypermedia protocol (IPFS), Juan Benet, accused the founder of Tron (TRX) Justin Sun, of stealing his company’s papers, code, and logo for BitTorrent File System (BTFS).
This allegation leveled against Justin Sun attracted the reaction of the co-founder of Ethereum (ETH), Vitalik Buterin, who seized the opportunity to call out the founder of Tron (TRX)’s dictatorship.
Charles Hoskinson Moves to Initiate Peaceful Co-existence between the Trios
The co-founder of Cardano (ADA) and Ethereum (ETH), Charles Hoskinson tried to initiate a peaceful co-existence between Justin Sun, Vitalik Buterin, and Juan Benet, by recommending a video made by Bob Ross for them to watch, believing that it will go a long way in restoring their already battered relationship.
Charles Hoskinson wrote:
“Justin Sun, Vitalik Buterin, Juan Benet, hey guys I saw the recent spat and I just wanted to give some chills and positive vibes. Here’s some Bob Ross youtu.be/1s58rW0_LN4 remember there are no mistakes just happy accidents!”

Only Justin Sun has responded to Charles Hoskinson’s recommendation. Vitalik Buterin and Juan Benet are either unaware or they have probably ignored it.
Recap of the Accusation and Responses
A few days ago, Juan Benet took to Twitter to accuse Justin Sun of copying his company’s code, papers, and logos for BitTorrent File System (BTFS)
Juan Benet wrote:
It’s not enough to fork all our code, rebrand it and lie its theirs; copy paste random chunks of our papers, and defraud their investors with a nonsensical mishmash. Tron also can’t even think of an original logo
It’s really sad— BitTorrent used to be great tech — our generation grew up admiring it and the team that put it together. Such a shame to see this great name put through this kind of embarrassment.
I wonder what original BT people remain there — I can’t fathom any of the original p2p builders would put up with this crap…
If you are sticking there trying to save what’s left of the BT legacy— maybe consider joining legitimate p2p projects, like us, WebTorrent, DAT, SSB, ETH and so many more
Justin Sun Responds to the Allegation
The founder of Tron (TRX) Justin Sun, in a swift response to the allegation, questioned the right which Juan Benet has on hexagon shape.
Justin Sun responded thus:
Seriously? Do you own the Hexagon shape? You need to reexamine your ego bro. A shame that IPFS hasn’t delivered on filecoin system in 3 years & BTFS/#BTT have been running smoothly. You’re a vaporware scamming your investors w/ concept for a long time. Shame on you!
You’re the one who copy/paste from BitTorrent’s technology & we didn’t say anything. We believe in unity instead of accusing each other. You stand on your morale high ground accusing others who has worked hard & delivered, do you feel cold up there? What have you done?
Vitalik Buterin Calls out Justin Sun’s Dictatorship
Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum (ETH) used the opportunity to call out Justin Sun’s dictatorship, citing the scenario of Steem blockchain takeover fiasco as a case study.
Vitalik Buterin responded:
This tweet is honestly painful to read. It’s like looking at a zombie: the account *looks like* something you’ve grown up with and known and loved for 15 years, but underneath it’s just, well, now it’s just another appendage of the Sun dictatorship.
