The CEO of IOHK and co-founder of Cardano (ADA), Charles Hoskinson, has recently clarified that the compelling situation created by the spread of coronavirus does not affect the time and plan meant for the launch of Shelley.

Charles had to make this statement after Crypto-News-Flash, a crypto news outlet, made a publication titled “Update: Cardano postpones launch of Shelley due to coronavirus”.

Obviously, this headline and the content got the CEO of IOHK furious, causing him to demand the takedown of the trending publication. Thus, tagging it fake news.

He then clarified further that the launch of Shelley is still as planned, stating that COVID19 has no negative impact on their time and schedule.

Charles Hoskinson shared this, “This is fake news. Take the article down now… Shelley has not been delayed due to corona. We are on our internal schedule.”

Update for Cardano (ADA) Stake Pool Operators

In another development, the co-founder of Cardano (ADA), Charles Hoskinson has an important update for Cardano stake pool operators.

A few hours after showing his dissatisfaction with the misleading headline, Charles implored Cardano (ADA) stake pool operators to make a video of themselves and share it on the official Reddit account of Cardano.

He furthered that he will retweet all the shared videos on his Twitter feed for the Cardano community members.

“Just a reminder that if you’re a cardano stakepool operator, then make a video about yourself and share it on our reddit. I’ll retweet it here on my Twitter feed so our community can get to know you,” Charles Hoskinson Shared.
