The Cardano Foundation, in regards to its mission to grow the Cardano community globally, has launched the Phase 2 (Rewards) of its flagship Ambassador Program.
The program is mainly created to motivate and recognize the ambassadors for their impact and contributions towards the growth of the Cardano (ADA) ecosystem. This is in line with the Cardano Foundation’s quest to strengthen the transparency and decentralization of the ecosystem.
When Ambassador Program Came to Existence
According to the report shared by Cardano Foundation, the Ambassador Program emerged in 2018 to promote awareness and educate the whole community and to enhance the adoption of Cardano for better functionalities.
At the moment, the program includes 58 ambassadors of all ages and professions from 26 countries and territories across the world. The report says that more individuals will qualify during the review cycle.
How Phase 2 (Rewards) of the Ambassador Program Will Play Out
Going by the report, Phase 2 (Rewards) will comprise both monetary and non-financial rewards. The first 3 months will be used to further enhance the stage of the Ambassador program.
Another significance of this Phase 2 is that rewards will be made in Cardano’s native token, ADA.
The report also added that the newest phase of the program is targeted at contributing to the quest of realizing the adoption of Cardano (ADA) through different means.
General Secretary of the Cardano Foundation, Hinrich Pfeifer says:
“The growth and commitment of our Ambassadors is nothing short of impressive, with more than 100 individuals applying for the ambassadorship since its launch two years ago. Phase 2 (Rewards) will bring our marquee Ambassador Program to the next level and create a much tighter bond with Cardano.
We want to reward contributions, further strengthen engagement and growth of our community. The newest phase of the Ambassador Program will be an important milestone of our community expansion and its future. I thank our Ambassadors for continuously adding value to Cardano, their support of our community and belief in our vision.”
The report concluded that the next development and improvement of the Ambassador Program will be built on the outcomes of the Phase 2 (Rewards).
