EOS Price Nosedives after Daniel Larimer Announced His Resignation as Block.one CTO

The co-founder of Block.one, Brendan Blumer, has recently penned a message in celebration of the second birthday of the cryptographic project EOS, the ninth-largest digital currency by market capitalization.

Blumer, the CEO of the firm behind development in EOS, shared this heartwarming message with his teeming followers and EOS community members on Twitter a couple of hours ago.

In the tweet, he counted it as a privilege to be part of the talented global community that supports the most performant and public blockchain in the world.

In the message, BB also believes that the best is still upcoming for EOS in 2020.

Brendan Blumer shared this, “Happy 2nd Birthday EOS. I’m humbled and thankful to be a part of this talented global community that underpins the most performant and aligned public blockchain in the world. This year is going to be the best yet!”

In the same thread of tweets, Brendan Blumer displayed his excitement to the growth and development within EOS community since the inception of the public blockchain.

He wrote, “I’m so excited that that that I can’t even think straight!”

Block.one Commences the Use of Its EOS Stake to Vote Block Producers on the Mainnet

As a report has it, since 29th May 2020, Block.one has started using its EOS stake to vote Block Producers on the mainnet.

According to a report, this is an event that the EOS community has been expecting since the launch of the public blockchain in 2018.

Going by the report made available by Block.one on Twitter, a total of 56 candidates that reflect its initial voting criteria across 21 countries have been selected already.

“We are excited to begin voting today for Block Producers on the EOS Public Blockchain. 56 candidates with infrastructure across 21 countries will meet our initial voting criteria, and we will be voting for them on a rotational basis over the next 6 weeks,” Block.one announced.
