The founder of XRP TipBot Wietse Wind has recently announced that the well-known XRP TipBot has gone live on the Uphold trading platform.

Wind took to Twitter moments ago to make this new development known. According to the report, in order to use XRP TipBot on the trading platform, interested users are mandated to secure an account with the exchange for both the sender and recipient.

“The XRP TipBot is now live on Uphold. YOUR TIPS WILL NOW *ONLY* BE PROCESSED IF BOTH *YOU* (SENDER) AND THE *RECIPIENT* HAVE AN CONNECTED UPHOLD ACCOUNT! VISIT xrptipbot.com, LOG IN and CONNECT your Uphold account!” Wietse Wind reported.

Wind furthered by stating that users can now create jars at Uphold to connect one or multiple XRP TipBot accounts to one or more cards.

He wrote:

“You can now create separate “jars” (“Cards”) at Uphold and connect one or multiple XRP TipBot accounts to one or more cards. You can even change the associated card: At Uphold: – Add a card (XRP), eg. call it “XRP TipBot” At xrptipbot.com/account: – Select your associated card”

The developer made a video where he outlined the steps of linking XRP TipBot to an Uphold account. Those without accounts have to pass through the registration process before authorizing the app for further steps.

Wietse Wind also added that in the course of changes and migration “Tips were still working fine – The xrptipbot.com website fully available. And all existing features are still migrated & working, like the API and public stats feeds”

Also, TipBot is capable of helping users to send tips on Reddit, Twitter, and Discord.

Uphold Partners XRP TipBot to Aid the Project

In just two years, XRP TipBot has risen in prominence to gain over 18,000 active monthly users. Initially, the project was just a hobby for Wietse Wind before it started gaining traction.

The project recently passed regulations that have to do with cryptocurrency custody, which threatened the existence of the TipBot.

Howbeit, the partnership with the Uphold exchange has really helped the survival of the project.
