IOTA (MIOTA) is beginning to showcase its utilities across the world in day to day transaction of funds. It keeps displaying how fast it could settle payments for traction across the globe.
A short video was shared moments ago by a German identified on Twitter as Alexander Süssemilch. The video revealed how IOTA (MIOTA) was used in an automated parking payment.
The scenario indicated that the transaction was swiftly settled in less than a second. In the text captioned with the footage, he listed four different digital parking services that use IOTA (MIOTA) as a means of payment.
The digital parking services in Braunschweig Germany that are leveraging the utilities in MIOTA include Trive Park, Synco Park, EDAG, and Smart Parking.

Municipality of Trondheim Enters Into Deeper Cooperation with IOTA Foundation
Moments ago, IOTA announced that the municipality of Trondheim has entered into deeper cooperation with the IOTA Foundation and 8 other companies to proffer lasting solutions to sustainable development goal challenges in smart cities.
The head of the UN Center Kristian Mjøen said, “In order for thousands of cities around the world to reach the UN SDG, they will need solutions delivered from these companies. We look forward to contributing, through the UN Center, to highlight and grow the unique capability these companies represent, in both national and international arenas.”
Business Development Director of the IOTA Foundation, Wilfried Pimenta revealed his excitement regarding the cooperation with Trondheim.
He said “We are thrilled to expand our cooperation with Trondheim towards the UN SDGs. By leveraging on Trondheim as a real-world city testbed and the UN Center as SDG collaboration network, the IOTA team is eager to expand its partner ecosystem, make sustainable innovation happen and replicate best practices in Norway and internationally.”
According to the report, the cooperation agreement was signed on 5th February 2020. This played out between the mayor of Trondheim municipality, IOTA Foundation some other companies.
