The CEO of Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse has recently responded to the widespread comment of the Galaxy Digital CEO, Mike Novogratz, who claimed that the digital token XRP will have another lackluster year in 2020.
Brad Garlinghouse specifically stated that XRP has outperformed Bitcoin (BTC) and virtually all other cryptocurrencies in the market in 2020.
He said, “Ahem… IS THIS THING ON… can I get a fact check on aisle CoinDesk? XRP has outperformed BTC and the broader crypto market in 2020…”
He further clarified that XRP has experienced a 44% price uptrend so far this year, while Bitcoin price has had a 33% price uptrend in 2020.
“…XRP is up 44% (19.1 to 27.5) vs BTC’s 33% (7,100 to 9,500) so far this year,” Garlinghouse shared.

In another tweet, the Ripple CEO Brad Ghalinghouse taunted Mike Novogratz by recalling the time he predicted that Bitcoin will hit $20,000 in 2019. Obviously, the prediction failed to play out.
He further mentioned other predictions he sometimes proclaimed but failed to happen as predicted.
He said, “Also..this is the same guy that said bitcoin will go to 20K in 2019. He did predict Tom Hanks would win an Oscar for Mr. Rogers – maybe this is the prediction he’ll get right? Personally voting for Brad Pitt though!”
