Going by a report, the XRP Ledger (rippled) version 1.5.0 and 1.6.0-b1 (first beta) are now available.
This new development was shared by Xpring, the Ripple’s open developer platform for money, via its official Twitter handle and website on 11th April 2020.

According to the report, the packages for XRPL rippled version 1.5.0 were made available in the previous week. Rippled version 1.5.0 brings diverse improvements and new features into the XRP Ledger (XRPL), such as support for gRPC API, API versioning, UNL propagation through the peer network, new RPC methods, improved protocol-level handshaking protocol, augmented submit method, improved package building, improved tx method and lots of bug fixes and improvements.
The Release of Rippled Version 1.6.0-bl
The development continues within the XRP ecosystem, as the XRP Ledger (XRPL) rippled version 1.6.0-bl was released the following week. According to the report, this is the first beta version of the 1.6.0 release.
The report also says that the rippled version 1.5.0 will be deployed on the XRPL Testnet on 15th April. The XRPL Testnet is as well hosted on Ripple by the Ripple’s open developer platform for money, Xpring.
This deployment will enable developers to test their applications with faux XRP that reflects the latest stable version running on XRP Ledger.
Conclusively, an update will be made on the same day by Xpring team to their own XRPL Mainnet rippled servers, which include clusters and validators.
