As several platforms compete for the top spot in the crypto sector, some are already exploring the NFT marketplaces to do so. After all, NFTs are still a prominent part of the crypto fintech sector.

A new competitor is set to emerge against Polygon. The competitor, a new NFT marketplace – MIATA, will be launched the Terra Classic Network.

MIATA Prepares For Launch

A prominent Terra Classic community validator tweeted that the Terra Classic platform will welcome the arrival of a new NFT marketplace. The minting of 2,000 MetaGloria digital collectibles, which users can buy and sell, will commence after the introduction of MIATA.

A play-to-earn game called The MetaGloria is set to arrive on the Terra Classic Network in the first few months of 2023. The project is led by a group of Ukraine developers and includes some cryptocurrency game enthusiasts.

The project’s website states that its objectives are to increase the number of gamers in the cryptocurrency market and decrease the volume of Terra Luna Classic tokens.

Two exhibitions of 3000 NFTs will be minted as part of the MetaGloria initiative. Many digital art collectors can choose from the more than 100 NFTs available.

Users can burn their LUNC tokens by exchanging them for the in-game GLS token as soon as the project is online.

Terra Classic’s Network Expansion

MetaGloria is one of many NFT undertakings to start on the Terra Classic Platform and the new NFT marketplace, MIATA. Similar digital endeavors will be launched soon, while others are slated for unveiling in the coming weeks.

One other prominent LUNC validator tweeted that another project with the name – LUNCPenguins NFT has been scheduled to be launched on MIATA. The LUNC validator with the Twitter handle @HappyCattyCrypto tweeted that 1000 unique LUNCPenguins will be minted for 200,000 LUNC.

Its corresponding value in fiat currency is 34 USD. As anticipated, crypto enthusiasts in the LUNC community are excited about the recent NFT programs.

They believe it’s an important milestone and will fulfil their ambition to develop new ways to burn LUNC and reduce the number of digital assets in circulation.

However, the LUNC price has not experienced any significant change. Hence, the launch of the MIATA NFT marketplace is yet to have a positive effect.
