Shiba Inu, a leading cryptocurrency project inspired by our canine companions, has taken a significant step by creating a LinkedIn account for its L2 blockchain platform, Shibarium.

This exciting development was announced on X (formerly Twitter) by one of Shiba Inu’s community admin, RagnarShib. In this latest move, Shiba Inu now boasts two official LinkedIn accounts – one for its metaverse endeavor, known as “Shib: the Metaverse,” and the other exclusively for Shibarium.

RagnarShib also shared the link to Shibarium’s official LinkedIn account, urging fervent SHIB supporters to follow these accounts for all updates about the L2 blockchain.

Ragnar’s Caution

It’s worth noting that RagnarShib had previously issued warnings, cautioning against unofficial LinkedIn accounts purportedly linked to Shiba Inu. This warning came after multiple crypto exchanges informed him of receiving offers to list the Fantom chain version of SHIB.

According to Ragnar, these misleading communications falsely claimed affiliation with the official Shiba Inu team. In response, Ragnar issued a stern warning to these platforms, stating that Shiba Inu does not have any official LinkedIn account, with the sole exception being the account established for Shib: The Metaverse under the stewardship of Marcie Jastrow.

Shibarium’s Expansion Across Prominent Platforms

By owning a LinkedIn account dedicated to Shibarium, the L2 blockchain platform now enjoys an official presence across major social media platforms. Earlier this year, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, opened a Telegram channel for Shibarium while the Shiba Inu team launched an X account tailored for the L2 blockchain.

Furthermore, Shibarium boasts an official Discord channel with nearly 15,000 members. This expansion of Shibarium’s footprint across diverse social media platforms aligns with its growing adoption.

Shibarium Records Huge Surge In Daily Transactions

Since its debut on August 16, Shibarium has witnessed a staggering surge in activity, processing an impressive 3,487,344 (3.48 million) transactions. Moreover, over 1.25 million addresses have interacted with the network, creating 1.18 million blocks.

Shibarium maintains an impressive average block time of 5.0 seconds, ranking it among the swiftest Ethereum scaling solutions. Meanwhile, the most notable highlight is the exceptional spike in daily transactions within the past 24 hours.

According to the latest data from Shibariumscan, daily transactions skyrocketed from 10,940 to 33,050, a remarkable 202% surge over one day. One reason for the spike is the recent introduction of the Sharbi Token (SHARBI).

On Monday, the Marswap decentralized exchange listed the Sharbi token at 21:00 (UTC). However, SHARBI is down 11.6% over the past 24 hours at the time of writing, according to Coingecko data.

Shytoshi Kusama’s Cryptic Bio Emoticon

Meanwhile, Kusama (the lead developer for the Shiba Inu development team) recently modified his profile bio description on the X platform to incorporate an emoticon. His bio description now consists of a pair of joined palms pointing upwards.

This unexpected gesture has ignited curiosity within the Shiba Inu community, prompting speculation about the lead developer’s intentions. The palms-up emoji chosen by the Shiba Inu developer could have various meanings.

One interpretation might involve a gesture of gratitude towards the loyal and supportive Shiba Inu community. This explanation seems reasonable given the Shiba Inu Army’s steadfast dedication to the progress of the Shiba Inu ecosystem.

On another note, Kusama’s bio emoticon could be him extending his prayers for a positive resolution to the ongoing geopolitical crisis in the Middle East, specifically, the Israel-Palestine conflict. This conflict continues to escalate, resulting in many deaths and casualties daily.

Recall that Kusama recently wrote an unusually long X thread, sharing his perspectives on the Israel-Palestine conflict. He even pinned his commentary on his X account.

In his post, the SHIB developer advocated for a cease-fire and an urgent solution to the crisis before it claimed more lives. Hence, Kusama’s latest alteration of his X profile may signify a plea for peace amid this escalating crisis.
