There are new and exciting trends dominating the cryptocurrency space. GameFi, NFTs, and the Metaverse are taking over. The new play-to-earn games are showing users the new possibilities in blockchain gaming.
The Binance Smart Chain had previously played host to most of these projects due to its cheaper transaction fees and high transaction speed. Ethereum could have played a role in this new gaming space, but its high transaction fees have made it impossible to cater to more people. This had made other altcoins with decentralized finance capabilities benefit.
Solana is the most recent altcoin to benefit. RaceFi, a Vietnam-based firm gaining much institutional interest and funding, has built a game on the network. The firm has developed the artificial intelligence and machine learning integrated race car game on Solana. There have been no other games like it on the network.
Why Solana?
Solana offers users swift transaction speeds at a minimal fee compared to the Ethereum network. The benefits outlined in the previous statement mean easy buy-in for gamers and an overall lag-free gaming interface compared to other networks. Solana provided a platform for RaceFi to combine all the elements for a play-to-earn game void of any hiccups.
The players determine their interaction with the game elements and environment. They use the assets within the game to earn results. RaceFi achieves all of these by integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning into the blockchain. The result makes it possible for PvP games to happen without user interference based on artificial intelligence algorithms developed by the team.
Gameplay
RaceFi designed the game with two gaming variations. The first is the Pure Race variation, and the second is the Battle Race variation. The Pure Race variation is a PvE mode. In the first variation mentioned above, the player has to take control of the car and win using gaming skills in compliance with the game rules.
The Battle Race variation is the PvP mode. This particular game variation pits users against themselves. The mode is run automatically by the game algorithm by comparing the strategy and statistics inputted by the users before starting the game.
More competitive gamers will enjoy the Battle Race mode. The mode lets users attach weapons and other assets to their cars. The mode doesn’t restrict the game to a defined time limit or a finish line. It is a battle to the last of sorts till only one car is left standing on the track.
Rewards
All of these fantastic gameplay experiences with players earning continually it doesn’t get better than this, it seems. All the assets held by the players can be sold as NFTs. The game allows players to earn other in-game rewards and upgrade the assets they have within the game.
RaceFi will be launching its IDOs in the weeks to come to create token liquidity. RaceFi is also hosting community competitions to reward members with the native RaceFi token. The company is also working on multiple partnerships with investors.
