Notcoin excitement is mounting as the Telegram-founded game attains a breakthrough and establishes a new record for everyday players.
Notcoin is a simple clicker game developed in Telegram, a messaging application. It continues acquiring traction before its prearranged token airdrop, which is anticipated in the coming weeks. Recently, Notcoin has developed breakthroughs for total players and everyday active users.
Notcoin Game Garners Traffic as Airdrop Approaches
In-game data shows that it has accumulated more than 30 million total players through Telegram since its initiation. On March 20, Notcoin noted that for the first time, it had attained another peak of more than 5 million everyday active players.
Granted, this is founded on in-game information. In this case, Notcoin is not presently on-chain, making it impossible to confirm the numbers independently. However, there seems to be significant interest in Notcoin, and the in-game leader boarders comprise players who have been tapping the shiny golden coin for a long time as they expect a crypto reward ahead.
Notcoin will utilize The Open Network to introduce its numerous in-game coins. The Open Network was previously founded by Telegram before community developers took over in 2020.
Earlier, the game’s representatives told a media outlet that the token-making event and succeeding airdrop to players will happen in late March or early next month. Nevertheless, players who have not logged in for some time might find their mined coins considerably reduced. This is due to Notcoin ‘burning’ account balances by 5% daily after 30 days of dormancy.
In-Game Coins Popularity Supported by Trading Volume
In early March, Notcoin unveiled the capability for top players to change large in-game balances into nonfungible token (NFT) vouchers tradable before the unveiling of the official token. Players can exchange 10 million or 100 million in-game coins for this voucher. The one who holds the nonfungible token can exchange it for NOT tokens after it goes on-chain.
The move permits crypto traders to hypothesize Notcoin’s final price before the token generation event. Currently, vouchers representing 10M in-game coins are selling for nearly $25M worth of Toncoin through the GetGems marketplace.
The most significant sale until now is for a 100M Notcoin voucher that sold for 1100 TON or nearly $4180. Up to this point, the vouchers generated 1.2M TON in overall trading volume.
On March 20, The Open Network revealed its intention to unveil a $115M trading program to push users and developers toward the network. This push will comprise applications that permit users’ to acquire a feeling of free tokens with easy mining mechanics inspired by legends such as Notcoin.’
