The CEO and co-founder of Tesla, Elon Musk, has recently pointed out that he does not build anything on Ethereum (ETH), and he does not use or own the digital token ETH. However, Musk clarified that he’s neither for nor against the platform.
Elon Musk Distances Himself from Ethereum (ETH)
Tesla’s Elon Musk made this clarification in response to a trending tweet of a popular actor and producer, William Shatner, about Ethereum (ETH).
In the tweet, he stated that both Vitalik Buterin and Elon Musk have been trying to decide on what to build on Ethereum. But he said he decided to build something after a very long wait.
William Shatner tweeted, “Cryptonians! My friends Vitalik Buterin & Elon Musk were trying to decide what to build on Ethereum. I’ve been waiting & waiting. I finally decided to do something myself. Join me! Bill.”
In response to William Shatner’s claim, the founder of SpaceX, Elon Musk, swiftly distanced himself from the cryptographic project. He said there is no ground plan to build on the Ethereum network, adding that he does not use or own ETH.
“I’m not building anything on ethereum. Not for or against it, just don’t use it or own any,” Elon Musk revealed on 2nd June 2020.
