Loyalists of the popular meme digital currency, Dogecoin, were left speechless over the popular US-based fast-food giant McDonald’s refusal to adopt DOGE as a means of payment for its services. The Dogecoin community believes McDonald’s can go viral once it unveils the canine token as a settlement method.

Community Wants McDonald’s DOGE Adoption

Reports indicate that the Dogecoin supporter has taken on the fast-food chain over its bias against digital assets following its recent tweet in response to Binance’s Twitter post.

McDonald’s is reported to have recently interacted with the crypto community after the Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao, tweeted that the fast-food firm is missing “a lot of green candles” about the current crypto market rally.

In response, the fast-food chain replied by tweeting “WAGMI,” which is an acronym meaning “we are all gonna make it.” It is worth noting that WAGMI became a popular slang within the crypto community due to the bearish trend which dominated the market for most of 2022.

Furthermore, the Dogecoin advocate also revealed that the request by Elon Musk to advertise McDonald’s Happy Meal on live TV is still on if the company would consider accepting Dogecoin.

The Tesla boss and current owner of the microblogging site Twitter, in January 2022, pledged to have one of McDonald’s products on live TV. Thus, the supporter believes that Musk’s advertisement for the fast-food chain can reach millions of people, making the Happy Meal gain visibility and expanding McDonald’s customer base.

Introducing Shiba Inu’s WAGMI Temple

Meanwhile, Shiba Inu, Dogecoin’s closest rival, announced last August that it is working on launching another SHIB Metaverse hub called WAGMI Temple, a plot of virtual land the network intends to unlock after the unveiling of the Metaverse project.

Moreover, the design of the metaverse hub was inspired by the various temples across the world based in Africa, Asia, and other regions. The project aims to provide users with an immersive experience in real-world temples across various regions.

According to the developers, the WAGMI Temple will be part of the numerous hubs the SHIB Metaverse is expected to host. The WAGMI Hub is designed to replicate Zen-like feelings, bringing the nerve-calming experience for users to explore through calming sensations and meditation sessions connecting them to the spiritual realm.

Users could experience various activities like yoga, meditation, and Zen principles in the virtual space. The development team explained that the SHIB Metaverse contained 100,595 plots of land that would be unlocked during the launch.

Meanwhile, parts of the plots have been sold to users in preparation for the unveiling in the coming months.
