Cardano (ADA) Shelley Mainnet Will Not Come in Beta Version That Needs a Lot of Improvements

A stern Cardano enthusiast identified on Twitter as Cardanians.io has recently hinted that the mainnet of the cryptographic project will not come in form of Beta that needs a lot of improvements like some projects in the crypto space.

Cardano (ADA) community awaits the full decentralization of the Cardano network through the integration of Shelley testnet into mainnet.

There are many other projects such as OBTF hard fork, which is meant to precede the accomplishment of the much-anticipated project for smooth and successful integration into mainnet.

Cardano (ADA) Shelley Mainnet Will Not Come in Beta Version

Cardanians.io, the guardians of Cardano security and decentralization, recently shared what Cardano ecosystem should expect, as the transition to mainnet looms.

According to the Cardano security and decentralization guardians, once the mainnet is launched, it will be fully ready to serve its designated purpose.

It added that more functionalities will be released subsequently in the course of the year. Conclusively, Cardanians.io averred that the Shelley mainnet will not come in Beta version that needs a lot of improvements like some other cryptographic projects.

Cardanians.io shared this, “Once the Cardano main-net is launched, it will be ready for use and new functionalities will be released during the year. Unlike other projects, it’s not a beta version that needs a lot of improvements.”

Charles Hoskinson Counts Down to OBTF Hardfork

The CEO of Cardano (ADA) Charles Hoskinson has started counting down to the much-publicized OBTF hard fork.

This event could play out in less than 4 days’ time according to the tweet shared by the CEO about 2 days ago.

Howbeit, Charles Hoskinson had once actualized that the hard fork will take place on 20th February 2020. The date that was once announced by the CEO also goes in line with the 5 days countdown he started about 2 days ago.

Important Notice from Yoroi Wallet to Cardano (ADA) Holders and Users

According to the recent update shared by Yoroi Wallet, Shelley Yoroi and Daedalus are fully compatible. So, the users are liable to apply the same 15-word recovery phrase on both of them.

It also added that the Testnet rewards totally depends on the users’ recovery phrase. So, users should restrain from sending the digital token ADA from Daedalus to Yoroi, as this will not transfer rewards.

Yoroi Wallet shared, “1) Shelley Yoroi & Daedalus are 100% compatible. You can use the same 15-word recovery phrase on both. 2) Testnet rewards are bound to your recovery phrase. Sending all your ADA from Daedalus to Yoroi will not transfer rewards. Instead, just restore the wallet.”
