Brave, a privacy-focused browser has sealed a partnership with Binance to build an in-browser cryptocurrency trading tool.
This was announced by Brave on 24th March 2020 via its official website. Going by the report, the tool will let users deposit, swap, purchase, and trade cryptocurrency from Brave Browser’s launch and new tab windows.
The new Binance widget located on the tab page of the Brave desktop browser makes Brave the only browser offering integrated functionality for purchasing and trading digital currency. With the widget, users of Brave browser can access Binance.com and Binance.US.
Brave users can also buy and sell cryptocurrencies, view asset balances, and obtain deposit addresses while using the browser.
The Binance widget in the Brave browser will open Brave users to different options needed to manage and trade digital currencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple’s XRP, Litecoin (LTC) and many other cryptocurrencies supported by Binance exchange.
The CEO and co-founder of Brave, Brendan Eich reacted to the partnership with Binance as follows:
“Cryptocurrency trading can be a daunting task for users not familiar with such assets, so integrating Binance into the Brave browser makes the process seamless and simple. By bringing a leading exchange like Binance directly into the browser, Brave is taking cryptocurrency trading mainstream and enabling users to conduct transactions with ease.”
In reaction to the partnership, the CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao, popularly known as CZ said:
“The Binance widget on Brave’s privacy-oriented browser instills a safer way to buy and sell crypto and also reduces user friction to onboard, trade and interact with the Binance ecosystem. We are looking forward to our long-term partnership with Brave to make it even easier to interact with crypto and encourage more utility in the near future.”
According to the report, the first version of this new feature is now available in Brave’s Nightly desktop version and will be generally released for desktop users in April 2020. The release for mobile users will be announced later.
