Prominent asset manager Bitwise offered a bold outlook for 2025, expecting a massive uptrend for Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana.

With 2024 winding down quickly, digital asset players and executives are switching focus to next year. Biwise leads other Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to drop a bullish prediction for the coming year.

In its December publication, Bitwise reflects on the year ahead with a massive outlook for crypto in 2025. The report by the $10-billion value company anticipates monumental gains for BTC, SOL and ETH driven by sustained inflows from the spot ETFs.

Bitwise Confident in New ATH for These Cryptos

Bitwise opines that the current bullish momentum in digital assets will ultimately spill into 2025. The asset manager is optimistic that the bullish steam will trigger further price upsurge in magnificent three assets —Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana.

Per Bitwise report, the pioneering crypto asset will rally to $200,000 by 2025. The report backs the speculation on the sustained inflows from the spot BTC ETFs. Additionally, more corporate entities are scaling their exposure to the pioneer crypto asset.

Bitwise anticipates Bitcoin will cross above the $200,000 milestone, sustaining its upward trajectory to $500,000. The bullish run would likely occur if the US established the Bitcoin strategic reserve. This is imminent under the Donald Trump administration, particularly with Senator Cynthia Lummis tabling the bill.

Besides Bitcoin, Bitwise speculates that altcoins led by Ethereum and Solana will test new heights in 2025. The spot Bitcoin ETF issuer asserts that ETH would attain a $7,000 price level as the latter hits $750.

Massive Inflows for US-Listed Spot ETFs

The report by Bitwise anticipates the US-based sport Bitcoin ETFs to blossom further next year. The asset manager anticipates sustained inflows even when the spot ETFs attain notable milestones that surpass the value held by Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto.

The asset manager speculates that the BTC-based investment products are bound to witness more traction next year. Bitwise notes that the initial year of unveiling ETFs historically is the slowest. As such, Bitwise considers that wirehouses embracing the spot ETFs are likely bringing with them untapped inflow as the illustrious wealth managers have yet to adopt BTC fully.

States to Fuel the Bullish Trend

Bitwise expects the countries holding Bitcoin to double next year from nine nations. The report identifies the US, China, and the UK as the leading BTC holders. The list features Bhutan, Finland, Georgia, El Salvador, Ukraine and Venezuela. The asset manager expects the Bitcoin bandwagon to attract more countries.

Bitwise insists that next year could mark the season for crypto space to witness several initial public offers (IPOs).  The asset manager anticipates the realization of a friendly regulatory environment will trigger a stampede of crypto IPOs.

Bitwise illustrated that digital assets firms will likely go public in 2025, including Chainalysis, Figure, Anchorage Digital, Circle, and Kraken.

Bitcoin, ETH and SOL Hit to Peak by Q4

Meanwhile, asset manager VanEck’s outlook for 2025 considers that Bitcoin and Ethereum would navigate uncharted territory to new peaks. In its Friday, December 13 report, the company forecasts ten cryptos.

VanEck disclosed that Bitcoin will encounter steep correction before rebounding to a cycle high at $180K next year. The Bitcoin ETF issuer predicted that the current bullish momentum would spill over in Q1, though it would later encounter a steep correction.

VanEck expects the surge to peak in Q1, though it would plunge 30% to drug altcoins into a 60% dip. The asset firm considers that the Bitcoin reserve agenda likely to become a reality would enable Bitcoin to stage a comeback.

The report indicates that Texas and Pennsylvania state would replicate the federal government in establishing the strategic Bitcoin reserve. VanEck speculates that BTC would rebound to $180,000 as ETH, SOL, and SUI peak at $6K, $500, and $10 in Q4.
