Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano (ADA), has announced not to discuss the XRP token because of the dangerous community attacks. Hoskinson considers that the cause behind the attacks is his point of view on the continuous lawsuit between Ripple Labs and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the United States.

Hoskinson stated that due to giving his opinion on the respective case, he has been blamed for plotting with the regulatory agency, as per the reports. The Cardano founder has formerly mentioned that he was informed by the sources near to the issue that the 15th of December would be the date of the lawsuit’s conclusion.
Nonetheless, the timeline that he gave did not come true and he disclosed that the XRP community was against attacking him while leveling the allegations of lying. Hoskinson, the person who additionally has the position of being the Ethereum (ETH) co-founder, revealed that the XRP community executed unwarranted attacks against him and he was on Ripple’s side.
He mentioned that during the previous years, it has become very difficult to engage with the community of XRP thus he determined to quit overall discussion over the project. He was of the view that despite making considerably supportive and measured statements regarding XRP, the community has been accusing him of lying, again and again, creating confusion in his mind on how to communicate with them.
Hoskinson added that, as a result, he will not respond to the questions related to XRP no matter what the situation is. According to him, till the accomplishment of the legal case, he will remain muted on the subject. In his words, he will not make any discussions in this regard in the future. The Cardano founder specified that he had been expressing a lot of support for the endeavor of the crypto exchange to promote the entire crypto space.
XRP Community Considers Cardano Founder to Be Plotting with the Regulator
Nevertheless, the comments received from him were the opposite of that, and eventually, he became tired of getting the same responses from the XRP community. Simultaneously, he drew attention to the conspiracy notions linked to his engagement in the lawsuit. All of such theories are baseless, he added, noting that his discussions on XRP have come to an end.
A noteworthy thing is that the community of Ripple has continuously targeted the Cardano founder after the start of the lawsuit between the crypto exchange and the US regulator because of the deficiency in the regulations related to cryptocurrency. Ripple Labs has been confronting the SEC which categorized XRP as security and accused the crypto exchange of trading it illegally without getting the token registered under the regulator.
On the other hand, the platform has been maintaining its point that XRP is not to be labeled as a security. Formerly in October this year, Hoskinson pointed out his irritation due to the XRP community’s attacks that were initiated because of his remarks.
At that time, he commented that the Ethereum token may have been approved as – according to some – a few commissioners have been slightly embroiled in a huge blow of corruption.
