The expansion of the Web3 industry is quickly gaining traction among several sectors with non-fungible tokens (NFT). It will usher in the next wave by bringing utility and building a diverse community.
The Metaverse entertainment firm Animal Concerts powers the latest minted collection in the NFT marketplace. It blends musical genres and blockchain networks to bridge the two ecosystems.
Accordingly, Animal Concerts has launched a new collection called “A Hard-Working Man.” It features Snoop Dogg, the crypto-enthusiast hip-hop star, collaborating with country music duo Billy Ray Cyrus and the Avila Brothers.
Moreover, the collection highlighted the physical experiences with virtual artworks and in-person concert incentives. The CEO of Animal Concerts, Colin Fitzpatrick, makes great efforts to highlight the “fan bases” of all artists depicted in the collectibles.
It will also show how Web3 will serve as the development platform for existing communities. The ‘collection creators noted that the cross-genre partnership would debut on the Minted Launchpad platform. However, they are yet to reveal the scheduled date for the premiere.
Using Minted Launchpad to Bridge Communities
The Minted Launchpad aligns with the creator’s idea of what cross-genre “collaboration” is and how it allows participants to mint, buy, and trade NFTs compatible with Ethereum and Cronos networks.
Furthermore, some selected users would also be able to mint on the Crypto.com NFT site by the end of the year. The collections, as explained by Matt Wan, will not only close the gaps between music genres and blockchain protocols but also connect Web2 and Web3 users.
The Minted Launchpad will allow active users to browse through multiple galleries of digital collectibles from both environments. According to reports, the collection was initially revealed in April 2022 but had to be delayed due to some issues.
The hip-hop music icon Snoop Dogg is well known for participating in crypto via his multiple engagements with NFT projects. For example, he is reported to have turned the famous Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) avatars into a nice music video.
NFTs have extensively served fans across several music genres like opera, classical music, and country music, the most prominent of which is Dolly Parton’s Dollyverse. However, given the current scenario, Web3 will take country music and hip-hop to new heights and expand their fan bases.
It will further make collections exclusive to their various genres and create new communities for the virtual ecosystem. NFTs are potent tools that can transform music lovers and fans into a single, active community.
The boom in the digital art ecosystem allows holders to benefit more than just from having access to events through rewards. For their part, artists can directly connect to their fans and monetize their art without a medium, as in the Web2 social media platform.
With more individuals and brands making inroads into the NFT space, the music industry will become more decentralized in the coming months.
