According to Flipkart officials, they have already started working on the particular project and are running their platform through the test pilot phase.
Flipkart is aiming to expedite the process so it can introduce a new and a unique shopping experience to consumers before anyone else does.
The officials have confirmed that they have named the new platform ‘Flipverse’.
Services and Products Offered in the Pilot
According to the development teams at Flipkart, Flipverse is to offer consumers a shopping experience for multiple brands.
It aims to offer all the services and products in the highly interactive and gamified metaverse. In the metaverse, Flipkart consumers would be able to purchase branded products such as Nivea and Puma.
In the metaverse, the consumers would have access to Flipverse, which would act as a virtual shopping location. They would be able to visit the location with their avatars and do shopping.
Flipkart confirmed on October 17 that it had launched an experimental version of Flipverse that it is currently testing. Flipkart aims to bridge the shopping experience of consumers with the virtual world.
eDAO is Supporting Flipkart
Flipkart officials confirmed that they have been able to achieve their goal in collaboration with eDAO. It is an organization that has been incubated by the Polygon network.
Flipverse has revealed that its goal is to bring shoppers closer to the brands. They want to make them feel that the brands are much closer to them than they perceive them.
This would also allow the brands to come up with their metaverse-based platforms and launch their products in the digital world as well.
This way, things would become quite interesting not only for the consumers but also for the brands.
Flipverse to Offer Digital Collectibles
Flipverse is not limiting itself to brands in the metaverse but it is also aiming to offer digital collectibles. These digital collectibles would be unique in nature.
The platform also aims to host multiple contests as well as make many brands offers available for users.
It is expected that soon, Flipkart would announce which tokens the users would be used to buy the products or digital collectibles.
