Block.one co-founder and CEO, Brendan Blumer, has recently condemned Ethereum for crowdfunding to directly attack other cryptocurrency projects. An article published on a major cryptocurrency news outlet, decrypt.co some days ago made the revelation.

This was also corroborated by the founder and CEO of Tron, Justin Sun, stressing that Tron Foundation will never hire community members to attack other cryptocurrency projects.

Recap of the Article about the Crowdfunding Purportedly Initiated By Ethereum

On 16th January, an article titled “Are Ethereum influencers tweeting for dollars?” was published by Decrypt.co.

In the article, it was pointed out that Ethereum fans are being crowdfunded for support on Twitter and other social platforms.

The article averred that they are well paid for sharing or retweeting any Ethereum bullish news, which would end in an argument with the enthusiasts of other cryptographic projects.

The article pointed to the instance of a Twitter user identified as Antiprosynthesis, who has so far raised relatively $15,000 for what he personally described as “aggregating Ethereum-related news, fighting information asymmetry and fine-tuning/signaling a consistent narrative for Ethereum (and ETH).”

A lot of allegations were directed at Ethereum in the article, which some cryptocurrency big guns such as Block.one co-founder and CEO, Brendan Blumer and the CEO of Tron, Justin Sun termed as out of place.

Block.one Brendan Blumer CEO Condemns the Act

Brendan Blumer recently called the attention of the crypto community to the article that revealed how Ethereum hires its members to attack cryptocurrency projects rather than supporting each other on the course of assuring mainstream adoption.

Blumer specifically stated that he has taken steps to block many users in the article, assuring that Block.one will never support an attack or promote such behavior within the EOS ecosystem.

He said, “We should support each other, as opposed to hiring others to attack. I have taken steps to block users in this article, and am ensuring that B1 never participates or promotes such behavior within the EOS ecosystem.”

Justin Sun Corroborates Brendan Blumer’s Assertion

The CEO of Tron, Justin Sun, who was in the news some hours ago after gifting Warren Buffett the sum of 1,930,830 TRX, corroborated Brendan Blumer’s assertion by directly condemning such behavior.

He stated that Tron Foundation will never induce its community members to attack other “friendly” crypto projects. He concluded that cryptocurrency projects should normally support each other rather than sponsoring direct attacks.

He said, “Agree! Tron Foundation will never hire community members to attack other friendly crypto projects. We should love and support each other! Shame on you Gitcoin, ConsenSys, Vitalik Buterin.
